The Caddo HUB is the connection between you and the Caddo Area Council! The HUB is designed to be your one stop shop for all Scouting in the Caddo Area Council.
This is a new platform for us, so please patient while we set everything up and if you have questions send us some feedback.
How to Use The HUB
1. Register
You can do this from the home page or select the button above to jump there. It is super quick and easy! Registering allows you to fully utilize the HUB, connect with others and see all the content available to you!
2. Join Channels 
You can access channels at any time from the menu (the button on the top left corner that looks like a hamburger or stack of pancakes!...Oh man, now I'm hungry!) Take some time to browse around and explore what is relevant to you. Joining channels allows you to receive/manage notifications and automatically puts new posts from those channels on your homepage feed (similar to a customized Facebook).
3. Edit Profile
You must be registered and logged in to do this. You can access your profile at any time from the left side navigation menu. Take some time to personalize your profile! Add an awesome background image and your favorite self portrait for your profile picture. Fill out the information fields so the staff, volunteers, parents and scouts know who you are.
4. Update your Notifications
On this page you have complete control over your notifications. You can choose when you receive the newsletter email. You can completely turn off desktop or other notifications at the top of the page which will automatically turn them off for each channel you're in (it turns gray). Selecting the bell next to the channels listed (only the channels you are joined to) will mute or un-mute the channel and the 3 dots always show more specific options. Remember, you can come back and change these at any time! It's recommended to leave them all on until you see which ones you prefer.

Awesome Tips
- SEARCH is your new best friend! Access this on the home page at the top right by selecting the magnifying glass. Use one or a few keywords for what you're looking for and see the label of what type of content it is on the right. This can save you loads of time searching if you're not sure where content is!
- Clicking or tapping the logo at the central top of the HUB will bring you to the Home page no matter where you are!
- The sliders rotating at the top of the home page are linked! Use them to jump to important information.
- Use the filter on the home page! If there are different types of content available on the home page a filter button will appear in the center under the sliders and before the feed. Use this to filter specific content.
- When you see the floating fab (circle with a plus sign) in the bottom right corner of Home or another channel that means you can create a post for that channel. So keep an eye out!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I join a channel but not have posts from that channel appear at all on my home feed?
A: Yes! Just go into the channel and at the top right select more options (3 dots) and you can uncheck the "Home" box. This will ensure you still have access to the content through the channel but it will not appear on your home page.
